We offer semi-private personal training that generally lasts about an hour. We operate out of a privately owned gym that is by appointment only with your personal trainer. See pricing here.

What is semi-private personal training?

Semi-private personal training is an affordable way to train. It’s not a group class where everyone is doing the same exercise with the same equipment or weights. It is scheduled, personalized attention from your trainer, who may have up to four other clients in the gym with you at the same time. You still get the one-on-one attention from your trainer who will personally guide you, step by step, through your workout. This allows for fewer time restrictions on training slots since you are not booking a private session. It also means more flexibility with scheduling.

Our Gym

Our gym is well furnished with over 40 pieces of equipment. Over 15 of these are specialty pieces that are not found in most membership gyms. We have over 30 weightlifting, squat, and bench bars. Most of these are also specialty bars that are not found in typical training facilities. Our dumbbells range from 5 to 150 pounds, and we have over 1,000 pounds in chains that add dimension to your weightlifting experience.

How it works

Our program starts exactly where you are – if you can’t lift a weight, we are not going to force you to try. We will, however, get you to the point where you can, and it happens faster than you realize. If you are new to strength training and even working out in general, you are in the right place; if you are a life-long workout warrior with or without strength training, or if you are anywhere in between, you are also in the right place. We customize a workout regimen that is perfect for you and your goals.

We use the Conjugate Method, this means we combine multiple methods within a single workout. You will work a set of major muscle groups (upper or lower body) followed by accessory work that targets and strengthens your weak points. You will see improvements with each session and it will bring your entire body to a well-balanced state.

Your program is customized to your goals and abilities. Some of our clients are competitive powerlifters and bodybuilders, some are moms, dads, and grandmas – most are average folks who are just looking to get healthier and stronger.
